Sfogliatelle frolle
Sfogliatelle are among Naples’ most beloved pastries. There are two main versions: frolla (pictured above) and riccia (which is, instead, shell-shaped). The main ingredients of a sfogliatella frolla‘s dough are flour, butter, sugar, and egg yolk. One popular filling is ricotta cheese with candied fruits.
Sounds easy to make…but I’m sure they make them taste more fabulous than I ever could.
