Slow Food Market, Zurich

Slow Food is an international association that was founded in 1986 by Carlo Petrini, an Italian who first came to prominence for taking part in a campaign against the opening of a McDonald’s near the Spanish Steps in Rome.

The mission of Slow Food is to promote and preserve traditional and regional cuisine. You can find more information about its activities at http://www.slowfood.com.

Here are some pictures I took yesterday at Slow Food Market, the yummy (very yummy!) food fair that was held in Zurich over the past three days.

(From the pictures below: Can you guess what my favorite food is? ;-))

  1. There’s just something so appealing about going to markets with a camera in tow as you take in all the delicious sights and aroma. I love your pictures:) You had me at cheese….
