Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a stunningly beautiful arcade in the center of Milan, Italy.

It is named after the first king of the Kingdom of Italy (1861-1946) and was built by the architect Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877.

What I love most about this arcade is its marvelous mosaic floor. The glass dome is not bad at all, either! Here are a few pictures I took a few days ago.
